Caring for the Environment
At Posada La Colodra we are deeply committed to the care of the environment and the preservation of our natural surroundings. We implement various measures to reduce the impact of our activities, optimizing the consumption of energy, water and other resources.
every direct reservation made at our establishment will donate 5% to Osprey Centre, a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of the osprey in the Bay of Santander.
- Every year, swallows, planes and swifts find a home in our inn. Although they can cause some inconvenience, we have installed droppings trays, allowing these birds to continue to be our best natural insecticide. We have also placed feeders on the balconies to ensure that they are never short of food, even in the most difficult seasons.
We firmly believe that sustainable tourism is key to the development of our community. We invite our guests to join us in this commitment by using water and energy responsibly, supporting the local economy by purchasing local products and visiting artisans and traditional producers. Together, we can protect and conserve the natural and cultural richness of our region for the enjoyment of all.
